Well, not really….

More like made a set of icons that look like the single celled Amoeba. Tiny, blobby, transparent-ish – what’s not to like? Check ’em out on our free icons page.

    These look beautiful, and I’d love to have them on my desktop (I’m doing research involving amoebae right now), but every time I’ve tried downloading them, they just appear as generic document icons. Running OS X 10.4 on a dual G5.
    BTW, love the other single cell protozoa set!

    Thank you for downloading Amoebae!

    I don’t actually know why the icons are appearing as generic document icons for you. I’ve tried downloading them here and they look okay. So I uploaded the set again using some different settings. You can download the newer set by clicking here. If that doesn’t work then you might try downloading this version (compressed as a .sit instead of .zip). please let me know how this works out for you.
